This year, GLOBAL marks a major milestone: 45 years of transforming Irish homes.
From the very beginning, in 1980, to today’s advanced, energy-efficient solutions, our journey has always been defined by one thing—a commitment to doing things right.
To honour the occasion, we recently brought together the GLOBAL team and some key industry partners such as Brid O’Connell, Guaranteed Irish CEO & Patricia Power, renowned Quantity Surveyor & GLOBAL’s Construction Expert, for a special evening at our Dublin showrooms. It was more than a celebration. It was a moment to reflect, to thank, and to look forward.
A Celebration of Legacy, People & Progress
The celebration paid tribute to the people who helped shape the GLOBAL story—from our founder, Tom Shevlin, to our most recent team members.
Barry Shevlin, GLOBAL’s MD, reflected on the company’s evolution over four and a half decades: how we’ve grown from a small family business into a trusted Irish brand – while staying true to our roots of craftsmanship, quality, and care.
There were heartfelt speeches, shared memories, and a few proud moments of recognition. Toasts were raised to the GLOBAL team behind every transformation, and all the customers who have trusted us and welcomed us into their homes.
Looking Ahead with Purpose
While the event celebrated our past, it also looked toward the future.
GLOBAL remains focused on innovation, sustainability, and a customer-first approach—all made possible by our dedicated teams and local manufacturing here in Dublin.
Because for us, home improvement is never just about windows and doors. It’s about creating spaces that are warmer, safer, more comfortable—and made to last for tomorrow’s world.
